Where It All Started
The North Shore Fishing Co name is a culmination of where we began and where we frequent. The North Shore of Lake Superior is truly a special place. The people. The community. The fishing.
North Shore Fishing Co. is a family run business. From product design, color selection, testing, and packing/shipping, we do it all in house.
Our Founder
After a discussion at school several years back about terminally ill children who need to spend their Christmases at the hospital, Ellie was determined to do something about it. She created and sold paracord bracelets to raise money for gifts for those children. The idea led to also raising money for the local sheriff department and school supplies for Ellie's school.
After being self promoted to supervisor, and leaving the bracelet building to mom and dad, she took a step back and re-evaluated the business with the help of dad and pivoted the business into something dad was a little more interested in, and North Shore Fishing Co. was born.
Ellie helps with packing orders, writing notes, and occasionally product testing with dad in the boat.
Product Testing Specialist
Isaac helps where he can, but his office is in the boat. He is always up for some "product testing" days on the water chasing anything that will bite. He has recently been promoted from Mickey Mouse rod to a 5' spincast rod.
